If a place can combine a quite neighborhood next to a park, by the Colorado river, with a golf course and tennis courts within a distance of 100 feet, across from the Austin community college and a library, within reach of downtown Austin, the South Congress area and the airport together AND having good transportation through the Austin Metro area, I would choose the Riverside grove. A small collection of individually designed and built condominiums with first class materials and attention to detail, especially the colors. The builder has taken great pains in preserving the very tall trees that are flanked by the rows of condos. This creates a shaded courtyard strewn with red gravel and well-marked pathways that gives to the residents a feeling of peace.
I bought a condo for my children who study at the University of Texas. After staying at the noisy dorms and the mass-produced apartment towers in Near West campus, they opted for something quieter, yet be close to the Austin action. The Riverside Grove will fit the bill.
Finally, a few words about the developer: he definitely takes pride in his work and is there to help with any questions or requests from the residents. He is willing to take care of things and he was true to his word that his assistance does not end at closing.
I purchased a one-bedroom at Riverside Grove as my first home purchase. The developer, Herman, made the entire process easy and painless. He was extremely helpful in getting the place ready for move-in along with quickly answering any remaining questions after my purchase.
The quality of the building and interior is great, and the design is modern and simple, fitting my expectations perfectly. The location is close to downtown, and the small size of the community means that Riverside Grove is like a small family. I’m looking forward to many years here!
As soon as I stepped onto The Riverside Grove property, I was impressed by its aesthetic appeal and layout. Each townhome that I toured was cleverly designed and styled with contemporary fixtures, cabinets and finishes which complement the property’s location in Austin’s growing metropolitan area.
Being a first time home buyer, the Renaissance Properties team was very welcoming and genuine throughout the buying process. Mr. Cardenas – the builder/developer pays very close attention to detail and assures quality work in every home. Since I have purchased my new living space, my guests have been amazed by The Riverside Grove’s overall character and my neighbors’ friendliness. I am very proud of my community!
I recently purchased a condo at The Riverside Grove and couldn’t be more pleased. We moved only a week ago, and have already met many nice neighbors and are enjoying the beautiful features of our new home.
The design features are in line with what one would expect in a much more expensive development. We have tons of cabinet and closet space, the lighting, ceiling fans, kitchen and bathroom fixtures are super modern and nice. Beautiful carpeting too. Everything is top-of-the-line and energy efficient! We are next door to a public tennis court, and right up the hill from Roy Guerrero Park (one of Austin’s best kept secrets). Not to mention the gorgeous pool at the Riverside Grove, with it’s zen-like setting.
I moved from the S. Congress area, where I lived for 22 years. It was conveniently located, but grew to be very busy, chaotic, and burdened with many unpopular issues. I’m enjoying the peace and quiet of our new home and am happy to find that my commute to UT takes the same amount of time – 10 minutes. I am 3 minutes from 183 and about 5 minutes from 290/71. I’m finding that this complex is situated in a surprisingly convenient location.
I’m excited about the long-overdue East Riverside Corridor Revitalization project and think this area is going to significantly increase in value very soon.Already the eyesore strip mall between Parker Lane and Tinnin Ford is being torn down to make way for a modern mixed-use development.
The developer of The Riverside Grove (who for now is the HOA president) is super nice and has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is in order with our new place and that we are happy with everything. I can’t say enough good things about him and our new community. He has not only built a beautiful, unique physical space, but a progressive community of like-minded people. I’m sleeping well at night knowing I’ve made a great investment in The Riverside Grove.
Kim and I found everything we were looking for at The Riverside Grove. A great location, close to downtown Austin, with easy access everywhere. The Riverside Grove fit our active lifestyle, with a great fittness center, swimming pool and the access to the running trails at Lake Lady Bird.
The first thing we noticed at Riverside Grove was the quality, craftsmanship and the attention to detail. Being able to meet and work directly with the developer made a big difference in our decesion making.. Mr. Cardenas gave us a history of the project, outlined all the different phases, and really made us feel like part of the community.
RG is a fabulous community, appointed with high-end fixtures and full of great people, who actually get together (as often as you want) to hang out and do fun activities. From the moment I decided to live here and was signed up for the Facebook fun group, neighbors have been voicing their welcomes (and already inviting me to events).
Asides from the tear-down and redo resulting in brand new townhomes stripped down to the struts and fully restored (read about the redevelopment project on the website), the pool and gym (not clubhouse) are a nice addition.
The units are really efficient, in no small part thanks to their compact design. And the large trees provide a good deal of shade. The finishes in the kitchens and bathrooms are high end and very cute.
It’s quiet, safe, and well-lit. All in all, a great community. I would recommend that you check it out if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, safe, and fun to live.
